A cantilevered roof slab unites old and new into one entity while the building-high customers’ hall with a glass roof connects the L-shaped existing building with the new angular tract. The old part dates back to the 1960s and is clad with natural stone in contrast to the transparent new building. The customers’ hall opens towards the urban area with glass joints between the two buildings, giving it the character of a semi-public piazza.
