Gerber Architects Dortmund/Hamburg won the competition for the new Volksbank Lippstadt. The new building offers 3,600 square meters floor space for about 140 employees - Construction will start in 2012.
Extending over the depth of the block the new building of the Mutual Savings Bank Lippstadt arranges the urban situation.
A space continuum in the upper floors creates a spacious character with open waiting areas, views to the churches, galleries for the banking hall, terraces and winter gardens.
The arrangement of pale concrete block elements and large windows formats animates the bright and friendly character of the clearly structured facade.
