On the European Heritage Days, on September 11th, Prof. Eckhard Gerber, together with his wife Anngrit Gerber, were guiding more than 130 visitors through the modern work spaces, located in the two heritage buildings on the Tönnishof in Dortmund-Kley.

With sunshine and refreshing drinks, the tours started off with a picture presentation showing the history of the former farm, originally built in the 16th century. Over time, the westphalian farmhouse and barns were changed according to different times and uses. Since 2003, the old barn is housing a modern office. Family Gerber is living in the attachement from 1985.
