The slightly sloping square has got a timber paving like an “urban parquet”. The diagonally subdivided square has been paved with incline and in the form of two terraces respectively. A coloured “carpet” from coated mastic asphalt connects the flanking streets. From this point of view the square dominating tower “Lighthouse” by Prof. Linn is in a row with the church towers of Reinoldi and St. Marien.
