The “City Arcade“ encloses the entire plot as a public promenade. It incorporates the linear structure of the university into the urban context. The “University Arcade“, the backbone of the complex, is the central communicative axis running from west to east. In the alignment of the southern main entrance, the library separates the men’s area from the women’s.
