The chemistry is right. On the natural sciences campus of the Justus-Liebig-University in Gießen, reasearch and training facilities got together.
The official opening of the new Institute and Lecture Hall Buildings of the chemistry department, designed by Gerber Architekten, is taking place today, Friday 2nd September 2016 at 11:00 am. After the official program, Prof. Eckhard Gerber will hand over his presents to the University: the compulsory entrance badge and a red maple tree which was planted yesterday already.

The new research and teaching building of the department of chemistry at the Justus-Liebig-University in Gießen offers future-oriented laboratories, modern techniques and creates space for interdisciplinary research. The building formation was developed according to the winning design of a design competition in 2008. The green courtyard ‒ one of the major design ideas ‒ invites to relax and communicate.
