Under the auspices of the Federal Chamber of German Architects (BAK) Network for Architecture Exchange (NAX), 28 of Germany’s leading architectural practices have tackled the challenges of modern global life. They developed potential solutions that they then put into practice within the context of real, existing construction projects. The result is a touring exhibition that, over the next two years, aims to set new milestones in global architectural discourse.
Gerber Architekten belongs to the chosen, internationally successful, German architectural practices and presents its project of the Metrostation in Makkah/Saudi-Arabia.
This touring exhibition, which uses the example of 40 projects to demonstrate the contemporary achievements of German architects in the areas “Metropolis: Developing Urban Structures”, “Inventing the House of Tomorrow” und “Places for the Public”, was last shown at the Beijing Design Week in October 2016.
