Two new towers of different heights are to be built in the Dortmund docklands, directly on the Dortmund-Ems canal. With a combined gross floor area of 52,000 m2, the 21 and 11 storey “Port-Towers“ overlook the canal, allowing views of the busy waterway. Both the form of the buildings, resembling the prow of a boat, and the gently rolling green roof of the adjoining multi-storey car park pay tribute to the maritime heritage of the docks. A restaurant area directly on the banks of the canal connects the working environment with the outside world, inviting occupants and visitors to spend time there and relax.
