Project information

The residential development on ‘Sportplatzring’ forms an independent quarter in the centre of the ‘Stellingen’ district, embedded in a park-like landscape characterised by an old and valuable stock of trees. Individual houses are slightly offset from each other and arranged at different heights to form a total of eight building blocks, thus mediating between the heterogeneous surrounding buildings consisting of detached houses and multi-storey apartment buildings. The idea of the individual houses is further formulated in the façade design. Every house receives slight nuances in its materiality. The use of different coloured bricks or changing clinker bracing creates a variety of units. On the one hand, this creates an exciting and varied appearance, which at the same time takes into account the idea of an independent quarter and urban development ‘from a single source‘.
