Research Building CALEDO for the University Dortmund

The new research building CALEDO will be constructed on the TU Dortmund campus by the beginning of 2025. In the future, liquid phases will be customised for environmentally friendly and innovative processes in chemistry and biotechnology or for pharmaceutical products in the “Center for Advanced Liquid-Phase Engineering Dortmund”. The interdisciplinary research centre offers scientists the best conditions for their cutting-edge research with more than 100 state-of-the-art workplaces. In the future, liquid phases for environmentally friendly and innovative processes in chemistry and biotechnology as well as for pharmaceutical products will be customised on about 3,600 m2 of laboratory and office space. The research conducted at Otto-Hahn-Strasse will drastically reduce expensive and time-consuming test series. Construction at TU Dortmund University is scheduled to begin in 2021.
